My Biography
Sharon R. Murphy has worked as a licensed nursing home administrator/executive director for over twenty-two years. During her career she has been employed by a number of different companies ranging from medium-sized organizations to a large national corporation.

A well-respected member of the industry, Murphy is versed in all areas of operations required in directing a nursing home. In addition to being an Executive Director of one home, she has held the position of Regional Vice President overseeing the functions of four other homes. Her homes have been recognized as award winning.

Murphy has published in a magazine for the elderly, been interviewed by the media, and has been quoted on television and in the newspaper. She is an active member of Toastmasters International and has spoken on this topic to various groups.

She is a graduate of The University of Connecticut and a longstanding member of The American College of Healthcare Administrators. She is currently licensed in three states.
